BIM 2013 & Mt. Climbing Training : Day 3

Today.

I trained with my younger brother
He was also interested in the BIM 2013 and so i encourage him to pay before 15 Feb for the early bird rate.

Well...he was ready mentally...
but i must say...not quite physically.

He basically run barefoot with his boxer.

He did try to find a running tight earlier but ended up bought something else.

So we arrive at about 6 :15AM
There were already two people ahead of us.
They look more like an athlete, a man and a woman.

He ; without any warm up just fleet away.
I must say im quite jealous.
Him so young with a lot of stamina.

After warming up i started to run. looking at the time it was about 6 : 27.
I ran lightly just like jogging.
This time is didn't find it so hard. Probably because i was already downloading musics into my handphone.

Songs such as : Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Gnarls Barkley, Temper Trap and Florence & the Machine.

I did well, running a complete 6 lapse non-stop.
My target suppose to be only 5 lapse.

I don't know...probably because when im listening to musics, before the songs finish...my emotions did'nt run out too.

While finishing the sixth lapse, my bladder started killing me and so i made a toilet stop.

When i came back, i realize more people turn up this time.

There were about 3 men, i think they're warming up for a basketball game, then 2 matured men, look more like a higher ranking officer, i noticed they were wearing the recent UMS sports team theme windbreaker and a young woman with hijab too!

Probably they were also training for BIM maybe?

After the toilet stop, i decided to continue for few more rounds.

So today?
In total?

10 lapse.

and i can still feel my legs!

My brother finish after...15 Lapse! Non-Stop!.

Then he go on bragging saying i did 10 lapse because i feel intimidated by his achievement. bleh bleh bleh...

But, the truth is, i think its because of the musics that i did not hear myself breathing like a dog under a  scorching sun glare and so i did not feel myself dying!.

Also i feel more secured, not just because i have someone to help looking after my car keys that i put by the bench but also....i have a partner whose making a fool of themselves in the early mornings ^____^

Wow....10 lapse equals to 4KM in about 45 minutes....so probably 8 KM = 1 hour and a half....
My record last year is 10KM for 1 hour and 37 minutes...hmm that's not good enough...

Oh well...the goal for February is to build stamina, once i have it then we shall accelerate our speed ..so my brother's theory bleh bleh bleh

Well we still have about 3 months to train, we shall see what we are capable of ^_^

being Mom

I always wanted to watch that animation movie : Brave.
Its not just because her Red hair looks so realistic, but i just feel intrigue by her arrow combine with dresses.

And so i purchased the DVD and showed it to my kids.
Now, it has become my kids favorite selection after, Rio, ParaNorman, Rise of The Guardians and Mickey Mouse.

So in this story, Merida is free-spirited princess who do not want to get married.
But, her cultured mother insist due to tradition.
So, Merida rebel with anger and called her mother 'Beast' and even 'poison' her using witchcraft that turn her into a Bear after their huge fight.

So the first time we watched it, we watch it all four of us (Hubby, Me and the kids)
When its finished, my husband tries to relate the moral into our real life

"Nah...tinguk tu, kalau dia tidak dengar cakap mamy dia...Mamy dia jadi beruang. Kamu mau mamy kamu jadi beruang?" (he's being sarcastic of course...)

After a pause, my kids said 'No'..still, a bit dumbfounded and uncertain.

Later, after watching it repeatedly.
My daughter Tara, develop a defense mechanism.
A Threat.

Everytime she aware that i was about to get angry.
She asked me a question
"Nah, kalau mamy marah, mamy mau jadi beruang?"

In good tempered, my answer would be 'No...'
And so she would subside into a Moral lecture of her own.
"Nah...kalau mamy tidak mau, Mamy tidak bulih marah-marah"

But during stress with workloads i would answer rigidly 'Yes.'
Then she would quickly grab my arm and said

"eeee! Jangan...Tara mau sayang Mamy"

......

My....that has a cooling effect to my soul.

And so my friends :

And with that, i'll always hold my own Mother close to heart.
Regardless how flaw she may be.
Because....

That's what my Daughter do.

Flushed Plump Lips

Recently i just purchased these :

It was highly recommended by my sister that says it was the new trend.
Honestly im not so sure what so hype about it, but when i google, it does kinda trendy at the moment, bloggers made reviews about it.

Actually the main reason i purchased it because, i was crossing the road one day for a movie at 1 Borneo when a car pass us by, in it a girl with her boyfriend, she had this long pretty hair and nicely done complexion. But what struck me most is her lips.
It was kinda bright plumpy in the middle lips and all around the edges is kinda pale.

She was so pretty, and so i thought hmmm,...i wonder how she do it with her lips, and it was out of the ordinary.
I started to wonder how she get the idea to create such lips and finally decide that it might be the latest make up style, then i started to wonder which beauty magazine that publish such trend.

But anyway, the day after that we were going on a road trip to Poring. I was feeling off with the ride and decide to buy fermented food to kill the nausea.
I was planning to buy the white dried lime skins but there were none, so i bought the red dried mango.

I was eating and when i noticed my red fingers from the artificial color i suddenly remember how we used to rub it on our lips when we were kids to make fake lipstick.

So i was eating and rubbing it allover my lips and guess what. This is how it looks:

That is truly without any lipstick, balm or whatsoever.

After the birth of my daughter, i started to have a dark lips pigmentation starting from the top and lower edges of my lips (the peaks and the lining)
Its normal to some mothers to have a skins pigmentation during and after birth.
And too bad for me,its on the lips.

That is why i spent quite a number on lipstick, lip balm, lip conditioner, etc.

After i look at our pictures taken that day i begin to realize that the girl with the pretty lips might be using the same trick ; provided she ate 3-5 pieces of the dried mango just before went out with her boyfriend.

Anyway, i opt for my sisters recommendation with the new Lip Balm from Maybelline.
But i did not deny the fact that the sour junk food really work the magic ^_^

My Ideal kind of lips
